Total registered FDI capital in Vietnam in tỷ lệ bóng đá đức first six months of 2026 reached US$34.65 billion, a 61% increase compared to tỷ lệ bóng đá đức same period last year, while disbursed capital reached US$13.03 billion - tỷ lệ bóng đá đức highest level for tỷ lệ bóng đá đức first half of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức year in tỷ lệ bóng đá đức past five years.

On tỷ lệ bóng đá đức morning of July 3rd, tỷ lệ bóng đá đức General Statistics Office (Ministry of Finance) announced socio-economic data for tỷ lệ bóng đá đức second quarter and tỷ lệ bóng đá đức first six months of 2026. Accordingly, tỷ lệ bóng đá đức total registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam as of June 30th reached US$34.65 billion, an increase of 61% compared to tỷ lệ bóng đá đức same period in 2025.

Of that, newly registered capital reached US$17.39 billion with 2,013 licensed projects, an increase of 1.3% in tỷ lệ bóng đá đức number of projects and an 87.2% increase in registered capital compared to tỷ lệ bóng đá đức same period last year.

By sector, tỷ lệ bóng đá đức manufacturing industry continued to lead in attracting new FDI capital with $10.76 billion, accounting for 61.9% of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức total newly registered capital. This was followed by tỷ lệ bóng đá đức electricity, gas, water and air conditioning production and distribution sector with $3.08 billion, accounting for 17.7%; tỷ lệ bóng đá đức remaining sectors reached $3.55 billion, or 20.4%.

Regarding investment partners, among tỷ lệ bóng đá đức 63 countries and territories with newly registered FDI projects in Vietnam in tỷ lệ bóng đá đức first half of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức year, Singapore was tỷ lệ bóng đá đức largest investor with US$7.31 billion, accounting for 42.1% of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức total newly registered capital. South Korea ranked second with US$5.45 billion (31.4%), followed by Japan with US$1.2 billion (6.9%), China with US$977 million (5.6%), Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (China) with US$665.6 million (3.8%), and tỷ lệ bóng đá đức Netherlands with US$420.4 million (2.4%).

In addition, 541 projects that had been licensed in previous years registered for capital increase adjustments with a total value of US$11.04 billion, a 23.5% increase compared to tỷ lệ bóng đá đức same period.

Including both newly registered and adjusted capital, tỷ lệ bóng đá đức manufacturing and processing industry continued to attract tỷ lệ bóng đá đức most FDI with $17.91 billion, accounting for 63% of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức total newly registered and increased capital. tỷ lệ bóng đá đức real estate business sector reached $5.1 billion, accounting for 17.9%, while tỷ lệ bóng đá đức remaining sectors accounted for $5.42 billion, or 19.1%.

Regarding capital contribution and share purchase activities, foreign investors conducted 1,446 transactions with a total value of US$6.22 billion, an increase of 89.5% compared to tỷ lệ bóng đá đức same period last year. Of these, 413 transactions involved capital contributions and share purchases that increased tỷ lệ bóng đá đức registered capital of enterprises, valued at US$2.15 billion; and 1,033 transactions involved tỷ lệ bóng đá đức acquisition of domestic shares that did not increase registered capital, valued at US$4.07 billion.

By sector, tỷ lệ bóng đá đức largest amount of capital contributions and share purchases were concentrated in professional, scientific, and technological activities with $2.64 billion, accounting for 42.4% of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức total value. This was followed by tỷ lệ bóng đá đức wholesale, retail, and repair of automobiles, motorcycles, and scooters sector with $1.94 billion, accounting for 31.1%; tỷ lệ bóng đá đức remaining sectors accounted for $1.65 billion, or 26.5%.

On tỷ lệ bóng đá đức disbursement side, realized FDI capital in Vietnam in tỷ lệ bóng đá đức first six months of 2026 is estimated at US$13.03 billion, an increase of 11.2% compared to tỷ lệ bóng đá đức same period last year. This is tỷ lệ bóng đá đức highest disbursement level for tỷ lệ bóng đá đức first six months of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức year in tỷ lệ bóng đá đức last five years.

Of tỷ lệ bóng đá đức total realized FDI capital, tỷ lệ bóng đá đức processing and manufacturing industry accounted for tỷ lệ bóng đá đức largest share with US$10.76 billion, equivalent to 82.6%. tỷ lệ bóng đá đức real estate business sector reached US$965.2 million, accounting for 7.4%; and tỷ lệ bóng đá đức production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning reached US$479.2 million, accounting for 3.7%.

Conversely, in tỷ lệ bóng đá đức first six months of 2026, Vietnamese businesses invested abroad in 33 countries and territories. Laos was tỷ lệ bóng đá đức largest destination with $324.7 million, accounting for 26.9% of total outbound investment; followed by Cambodia with $258.6 million (21.4%), Kyrgyzstan with $149.9 million (12.4%), tỷ lệ bóng đá đức UK with $82.8 million (6.8%), Singapore with $72.5 million (6%), Kazakhstan with $36 million (3%), and tỷ lệ bóng đá đức US with $32.2 million (2.7%).
